My Wardrobe Classics

Hi guys! I made a couple of slides to illustrate my wardrobe classics. By wardrobe classics, I mean items I wear very often and find extremely attractive. By listing out your wardrobe classics, it'll be easier to describe what you like and define your style!

My Bohemian Closet

Why I Love the Bohemian Style:

It's sort of hard to sum up exactly why I love the style but I'll give it a go! Being bohemian also means being free-spirited and even artsy. I've always been a fan of going with the flow and just living life. I'm also a practicing artist so I feel the style really complements me. I also love the feel of the style. I feel free in these clothes. I also feel very girlish and feminine, a feeling that's very satisfying for me.

My Bohemian Closet:
Here's what I wear to show off my style-
  • ethnic print palazzo pants
  • ethnic print maxi skirt
  • ethnic print jersey skirt
  • ethnic print sweater
  • tye-dye maxi skirt
  • draping, lace-back cardigan
  • long, plain maxi
  • moccasin boots
  • long, blue scarf (usually worn as a headscarf)
  • gypsy skirt
  • Aztec print cardigan
  • fringe, cross-body leather bag
  • plain maxi dress

(These aren't all of my bohemian items. Just the ones I usually wear when making a statement)

My Outfit for the First Day of Spring

Hi guys!  Here's the outfit I wore on the first day of spring. Yes, I know the first day of spring was the 20th, but I didn't get a chance to post it that day. Anyways, I love this outfit.  I really love the way it flowed around me. I also loved the way the blues really complemented each other. The pastel color of the top was beautiful too! It fit spring perfectly as did the lace and floral design on it! The skirt, I like because it was the color of a pair of jeans. I had thought about wearing a pair of jeans instead of a maxi skirt but I really wanted to wear  maxi too. That's why this skirt was a happy medium for me! I got the jean-like color and the flowing, comfort of a maxi all at once!

1st Day of Spring: Julie's Outfit

Hi guys! Happy first day of Spring. I wanted to present my friend, Julie's outfit today. True, she wore it sometime in February, but it's very appropriate for today's post!

I love her outfit, the shirt especially! It fits spring with its pastel color and lacy sleeves! Bloused over a pair of skinny jeans, it makes a neat, casual look. I also love her flower necklace and her earrings. They really compliment the outfit!

What did you wear today for Spring? Anything special? I dressed up for the occasion. I'll post the pics next!

Spring Clothes

Here I've put clothes I think are perfect for spring! The clothes under "Clothes I'd Like to Get" are ones I don't own yet but would be happy to during this season. Meanwhile the clothes under "Clothes I Have" are ones I own and would like to break out during this season.

Double Denim

Denim overlapping denim is a great choice for an outfit! In my opinion, two different colored denims go together fantastically like the outfit above! It's a casual and chic outfit I'll happily wear when I want to be comfy.

Parallels between Romanticism and Bohemianism

Romanticism and Bohemianism are considered two different styles and they are. While Bohemianism is more about freedom and is more artsy, Romanticism is more whimsical and girly. However, I've seen parallels between the two styles. It's hard not to!

How They're Alike:

  • Draping/flowing clothes
  • Attraction to paisley
  • Attraction to floral prints
  • Feminine
  • Attraction to lengthy skirts
  • Vintage
  • Love for accessories
  • And many more
These similarities make it super-easy to create outfits that are a blend of both styles! I have to say, the outfits possible with these two styles are super adorable! It pleases me greatly to consider the great outfits that incorporate both styles!

Fashion Blog Tag :)

Hey guys! I came across something called "Fashion Blog Tag". Seeing as I've never done this before, I had to try it out!

How would you describe your style?

I'm eclectic! I must be! Not only do I love the bohemian style but I also love the romantic and classic style. In my closet, it seems like most of my items fall into these 3 categories.

What are your wardrobe staples?

My wardrobe staples include an Aztec cardigan, pair of moccasin boots and a plain maxi skirt for colder months. Meanwhile, in the warmer months I wear out my favorite pair of denim shorts and sleeveless eyelet peplum top.

Most expensive thing in my closet?

Not so sure.

Most wanted item?

I'd like a lacy skirt that comes to my knees or below. I guess because I always associate lace with spring and I love wearing skirts!

Favorite Designer?
Designers? I don't really focus on them so I don't have  a favorite one. I do my own thing when I shop, only caring if what I find is cute. I've never really been into name brands and therefore, never into the designer behind them.

How much do you spend on clothes?

A lot, usually. Clothes have become more and more important to me as I've grown older.

What are your favorite places to shop?

That would have to be "Wet Seal", "H&M" and "JCPenney". I love the bohemian clothes I can find at Wet Seal. H&M  is where I can find edgier clothes. As for JCPenney, that's where I find miscellaneous items that fit more of my classic and romantic style.

Favorite Fragrance:

I've only had one called "Promise Me".  Since it's the only one I have and is actually good-smelling, I guess that makes it my favorite.

What's your favorite way to do your hair?

My favorite way is in braids. I like them best when they're not in a ponytail, buns, etc. It's better to have them hanging free.

What's your go-to outfit when you have no idea what to wear?

Normally, I go for my favorite pair of skinny jeans and a black cardigan! I feel like nothing can go wrong in these! I consider them essential to my wardrobe!

Hope you liked it! If you want to find the blog I got this tag from click on this link:

Comment if you want to tag this post yourself. I'd love to check out what you have to say!
Bye guys!

What looks good with chiffon blouses and chiffon shirts!

I love chiffon blouses and shirts! I have a cute sleeveless one I adore wearing in the summer. Don't worry that it's not summer. A long sleeve chiffon blouse or shirt will be perfect for those of you that experience warm springs!

I hope these inspire you! Add or take away any piece. Conform the style to your standards and simply allow this to be your guide!
