The Flowered Dress

Went to a party and of course had to skip the jeans altogether. I loved wearing  this cute floral dress instead. It was so ready for spring! 

Periwinkle Princess

I've never realized how periwinkle is such a feminine color until now! It's so pretty and a perfect pastel piece for spring! You want to know what else is great for spring? The floral scarf I'm wearing as a belt! Did you know that you could do that with scarves? I think it's an adorable way to restyle a very versatile accessory.

"Zap" Sweatshirt

Sci-Fi themed sweatshirts aren't very common in stores with mainly mainstream clothes.
Not only does it brighten my mood with its sci-fi theme but is this one warm and cozy.  It's so perfect for this weather!
An added bonus is that it makes me laugh because there's a funny, exaggerated picture of a mothership zapping someone.

Back to Black(and Red)

      This winter, I've been all about the black and red combo. I LOVE the way it looks together because it's so bold.
      Speaking of winter, I had to make a few modifications to this dress so it could stand the weather. These modifications include leggings, boots and a turtleneck to add warmth to it.

The Quirky Artist

   

What's more artistic than paint splattered pants and a long sleeve with a vintage band on it?  (My pants are literally covered in paint splatters. It was a fashion decision I made two years ago after I got acrylic on my pants. It's faded a little now, though.)

Today was the day to show my artistic side, especially because I've begun to paint again. This quirky outfit certainly did fit my artsy mood.

Have a Warm New Year's Day!

Hello Sweeties! I hope you are having a fantastic, blessed New Year's Day and a warm, bright year. Speaking of warmth, in my opinion the best thing to keep you warm in this freezing weather is a sweater.

 The sweater I'm wearing in the picture is so nice and unique because the zipper is towards the neck and angled. I've never had anything like it. It's a Christmas present I'm sure I'll make good use of!
