I've never realized how periwinkle is such a feminine color until now! It's so pretty and a perfect pastel piece for spring! You want to know what else is great for spring? The floral scarf I'm wearing as a belt! Did you know that you could do that with scarves? I think it's an adorable way to restyle a very versatile accessory.

The Eyelet Peplum

Today was in the 80's. It was so beautiful out! I decided to wear my sleeveless peplum so I stood a standing chance in the heat. This feminine outfit helped me survive the heat!

Girly with Wedge-Heeled Sneakers

Hi guys! It was in the 70's today. I was so elated! For a while now, we've been in a rut of 50's and 60's temperatures! It was nice stepping outside in this outfit and not being the slightest bit cold!

I thought the pastel shirt and feminine skirt made this outfit perfect for spring! I do love my addition of the wedge heels. They added a bit of kick to my outfit (sorry the pic is blurry at the feet!)

Why I Love the Bohemian Style:

It's sort of hard to sum up exactly why I love the style but I'll give it a go! Being bohemian also means being free-spirited and even artsy. I've always been a fan of going with the flow and just living life. I'm also a practicing artist so I feel the style really complements me. I also love the feel of the style. I feel free in these clothes. I also feel very girlish and feminine, a feeling that's very satisfying for me.

My Outfit for the First Day of Spring

Hi guys!  Here's the outfit I wore on the first day of spring. Yes, I know the first day of spring was the 20th, but I didn't get a chance to post it that day. Anyways, I love this outfit.  I really love the way it flowed around me. I also loved the way the blues really complemented each other. The pastel color of the top was beautiful too! It fit spring perfectly as did the lace and floral design on it! The skirt, I like because it was the color of a pair of jeans. I had thought about wearing a pair of jeans instead of a maxi skirt but I really wanted to wear  maxi too. That's why this skirt was a happy medium for me! I got the jean-like color and the flowing, comfort of a maxi all at once!

Pastels are everywhere! You can incorporate a pastel skirt, shirt and/or sweater to make an outfit more spring-ish. You can even use a pastel-colored accessory or pastel-colored nail polish! It's that simple!

Double Denim

Denim overlapping denim is a great choice for an outfit! In my opinion, two different colored denims go together fantastically like the outfit above! It's a casual and chic outfit I'll happily wear when I want to be comfy.
